Every piece of energy-consuming equipment has sensors installed that communicate to the user’s Surveyor system via the Internet. These sensors can also be added to most manufacturer’s equipment for the same level of control without buying new since you can add it to your existing equipment.

Surveyor controls are available as a factory-installed option for some HVAC manufacturers, such as York and Carrier.  Surveyor even has an iPhone app for managing your energy usage from any location.
